Dr. P. Rajan, M.Sc., MBA, Ph.D., is the Dean of the Management Science Programme. He earned his master’s degree in Chemistry from the Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science in Coimbatore. He subsequently completed his MBA at the Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. He completed his doctorate at PSG College of Arts & Science in Coimbatore. His areas of expertise include Supply Chain and Operations Management.

He has 17 years of teaching experience. During his academic career, he was assigned to a corporation for a year to organise the office and logistics operations for improved results. He has given numerous presentations at Tier-I institutions, including IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak, IIM Kozhikode, and IIM Trichy. He has authored several works, some of which are published in UGC Care journals. He serves as the coordinator for International Programs. In June 2024 he took part in the Global Immersion Program at Avila University in Kansas City, and Saint Peters University, New Jersey, USA June 2025 alongside a group of students. He has negotiated and signed numerous Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with logistics firms for academic partnerships, student apprenticeships, and short-term faculty training.
