The “Making the Impossible Possible” event, held on July 03, 2024 successfully inspired and empowered attendees through a series of impactful sessions and activities. Mr. B. Gayathrinathan compelling stories of overcoming adversity and achieving remarkable feats, deeply resonating with students and instilling a sense of motivation and possibility. Activities provided to enhance their problem-solving and innovation, equipping attendees with tangible skills applicable to various challenges in both personal and professional domains. Networking opportunities facilitated valuable connections among peers and professionals, fostering a supportive community focused on growth and collaboration. The event’s emphasis on a growth mindset encouraged attendees to rethink limitations and embrace ambitious goals with resilience and determination. Data Driven Decision making with Reinforcement learning
The seminar “Data-Driven Decision Making with Reinforcement Learning: A New Frontier in Analytics” will be held on February 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Seminar Hall – 1, with participants from II B.Sc DS & III B.Sc DS. The seminar on 3rd February 2025 for II and III-year Data Science students featured Mr. Jayaram Ramalingam, Technical Program Manager at MindGraph Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore, as the chief guest. It covered Reinforcement Learning (RL), Machine Learning (ML), and key algorithms, highlighting their role in data-driven decision-making and industry applications, concluding with a Q&A session on AI-driven analytics.

Stay Alert, Stay Alive: Road Safety Essentials
A Social Awareness Seminar on Road Safety was held on July 18, 2024 at the Seminar Hall 2, organized by Department of CT and DS. The seminar featured Ms. B. Nivetha, founder of Dringo, as the guest speaker. Ms. Nivetha delivered an engaging presentation on the critical importance of road safety, sharing alarming statistics and personal anecdotes to highlight the need for adherence to traffic rules. She provided practical tips on safe driving, such as using seat belts, following speed limits, and avoiding mobile phone distractions. The interactive session allowed participants to ask questions and share concerns, which Ms. Nivetha addressed with practical solutions. The event successfully raised awareness and motivated attendees to contribute actively to promoting safer driving practices in their communities.
CBETO ZVEZDE
The Department student association CBETO ZVEZDE sets a stage for the students to identify their inner strength in terms of skills and academics through several events. The students get a chance to improvise their talent and creativity through various technical and non-technical competitions.
Innoventure
Institution’s Innovation Council in collaboration with The Department of Computer Technology and Data Science hosted the innovative event Innoventure which was conducted for three days from 05/01/2025 – 07/01/2025. On February 5th, 52 teams from various departments showcased their creative ideas with inspired selected themes. The esteemed judges for the first day are Dr.G.Sumalatha, Dr. A. Somusundharan and Dr. N. Priyadharshini and later a rigorous evaluation process was done and 18 teams were selected for their advance to develop their detailed prototypes on February 6th. These teams where refined their concepts further the other day and our esteemed judges where professor Sathya and Mr. R. Shankar and the participants was culminated for the selection of the best ideas for rewards. The event concluded on February 7th with a distinguished valedictory function with those selected teams. Three days event made the students more hard working and brought their unique ideas.

The “Digital Marketing in Start-ups” workshop was conducted to equip entrepreneurs and small business owners with practical skills and strategies for effective digital marketing. The event was aimed at helping start-ups leverage digital channels to grow their businesses.
