The Department of English, established in 1997, has grown significantly from its early focus on imparting English language skills to young minds. In 2012, it became a full-fledged academic department, marking a key milestone in its development. Offering a comprehensive curriculum, the department promotes linguistic and literary excellence while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication. With a balanced approach to traditional and contemporary literary studies, it provides an intellectually stimulating environment for academic exploration. The experienced faculty are deeply engaged in research and continuously update pedagogical methods to ensure students receive a relevant and high-quality education tailored to today’s global demands

Department of Social Work offers a two-year professional and academic discipline that seeks to improve the quality of life and well-being of an individual, group, or community. The course is well designed to impart professional knowledge and skills to the candidates. The students are guided to gain a foresighted vision and mission to interact with social issues and problems strategically. Apart from the theoretical input, the main component of Social Work includes orientation visits, concurrent field work, welfare camps, industrial tours, special camps and block placement. TheDepartment offers three specializations on Human Resource Management, Medical & Psychiatry and Community Development
