Prof. C. Julian Gnana Dhas, BE., MBA, NET, Head of the Department. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Business Administration. He has 22 years of total experience. Prior to his academic entry, he has worked in Industry for about 7 years and has hands-on experience in the field of Industrial Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Production Planning in Automobile and Electrical industries. His areas of instruction include Quantitative Techniques, Production Management, Operations Research and Supply Chain Management.

Department Introduction

The Department of BBA & BBA (CA) is the supreme wing of Sri Krishna Arts and Science College. Since its inception in 1997, the department has successfully operated with the goal of developing quality managers and entrepreneurs to meet the demands and challenges of the corporate sector. The department offers the following undergraduate programmes.

  • BBA – Business Administration
  • BBA - Business Administration with Computer Applications

The programmes are specifically designed to develop and enhance career opportunities and to contribute in the dissemination of academic and applied knowledge in business management.

The department has a reputation for activity-based teaching – learning processes, an up-to-date curriculum, quality courseware, personalized instruction, and strong industry interface. The Business Administration Programmes have grown impressively and achieved widespread recognition from industry and academia.

Also, the department provides knowledge and skills both functional and integrative in the field of business, with an emphasis on leadership and ethics. The focus is on developing entrepreneurial traits with professional orientation and a global outlook deeply rooted in social sensitivity.

The department offers certificate courses in Tally, Economic Talent Test, Make- Intern in collaboration with IIM Kozhikode, and international summer programmes at leading universities in the United States to provide a diverse learning experience.

The department has established functional Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Dhi Green Foundation in Coimbatore. Dhi Green is distinguished for its innovative initiative, delivering organic products directly to customers' doorsteps, fostering healthy lifestyle choices with convenience and affordability as key priorities. Through this MoU, students have the valuable opportunity to undergo apprenticeship training and engage in project work with Dhi Green. This collaboration aims to impart enhanced knowledge and job experience, contributing to the holistic development of our students.
